About the Role 

LanguageBird is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to grow and strengthen our partnerships with schools, districts, and other affiliate organizations. This role combines relationship-building with new business development, deepening existing partnerships while identifying and developing new opportunities for LanguageBird’s programs and services. 

Working closely with Revenue leadership and cross-functional teams, the Regional Sales Manager will help expand LanguageBird’s institutional presence and build lasting partnerships that connect more learners with high-quality language learning experiences. 


Key Responsibilities  

  • Build and strengthen relationships with schools, districts, and other affiliate partners  
  • Grow existing partnerships by understanding partner needs and identifying opportunities to expand LanguageBird’s programs and services  
  • Develop new institutional relationships and guide prospective partners through the sales process from initial outreach through executed agreement  
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified institutional opportunities across assigned markets  
  • Develop a strong understanding of institutional buyers, market needs, and emerging opportunities to help inform LanguageBird’s approach to B2B growth  
  • Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing, Academics, and Operations to support a strong partner experience from initial conversation through implementation  
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, partner, and sales activity information in LanguageBird’s CRM and contribute to forecasting and revenue planning  
  • Represent LanguageBird at conferences, events, partner meetings, and other opportunities to build relationships and expand our institutional presence  


Required Qualifications 

  • 3–5 years of B2B sales experience in education, including sales to schools, districts, private institutions, or education-adjacent organizations  
  • Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing new business in addition to managing and growing existing accounts  
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and connect them with appropriate solutions  
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders and decision-makers 
  • Experience managing longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and maintaining consistent pipeline and relationship management throughout the process  
  • Proficiency with CRM tools for pipeline management and reporting; HubSpot experience preferred  
  • Strong organization, initiative, and accountability with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment  
  • Must reside in and be eligible to work in the United States  


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience selling to private K–12 schools, school districts, or educational enrichment programs  
  • Familiarity with DoDEA, LEA grant programs, government-funded education programs, or related procurement processes  
  • Experience with prospecting and market intelligence tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator
    or comparable platforms 
     
  • Background in language education, international education, or a related field  
  • Experience developing B2B sales processes or expanding into new institutional markets  
  • Established relationships with school administrators, department leaders, educational consultants, or other relevant decision-makers 


Compensation & Benefits 

  • Compensation:
    $80,000+ commission
