The mission of the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is to identify, train, and grow the mid to high level producing Powersports dealerships in their territory and to continuously work to achieve origination and engagement targets.  The RSM will carry out the company’s strategies by engaging the dealership via in store visits, phone campaigns, emails, and any other means of communication that will increase the dealership and territories overall expected performance. The RSM is to communicate market and dealer trends that have a direct impact on the company’s performance within the Powersports industry to the Senior Director, National Sales. 

Responsibilities: 

Relationship Management & Optimization

  • Drive revenue growth by proactively managing and optimizing dealer accounts to ensure maximum portfolio performance.
  • Cultivate and sustain high-level professional relationships across all dealership departments to solidify Roadrunner Financial as the preferred lending partner.
  • Execute a rigorous cadence of communication and on-site consultations to monitor dealer health and provide strategic guidance.

Business Development & Strategy

  • Identify and capture new market opportunities to continually expand the regional dealer network and increase brand footprint.
  • Represent the company at industry meetings, workshops, and marketing events to enhance brand authority and networking reach.

Strategic Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze complex performance indicators and market reports to formulate and execute data-driven action plans.
  • Deliver comprehensive progress reports to dealership management, addressing performance trends and identifying areas for growth or correction.

Training & Operational Support

  • Lead the implementation of platform updates and program changes, ensuring dealership staff are fully trained to maximize portal utility.
  • Provide dealerships with critical marketing collateral and updates regarding rate structures and system enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in outside sales within the Powersports, RV, or Marine industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Agile and adaptable professional capable of thriving in a high-growth, fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding quarterly KPIs.
  • Deep passion for and technical knowledge of the powersports industry and competitive landscape.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in dealership operations or related outside sales roles.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational capabilities to balance frequent travel and territory demands.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a flexible schedule for extensive regional travel, including occasional off-hours.

Compensation: In addition to salary, Total Rewards include bonus eligibility, a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below. The role described above offers a base salary of $80,000 to $85,000 + additional on target earnings & corporate bonus eligibility. Your offer will be based on location, the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job and internal equity.
