The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for prospecting and developing business with key decision-makers and driving the sales process from prospect to close. The RSM will also be accountable for possessing detailed knowledge of the complete portfolio of Brivo solutions and systems and components supported through integration (such as VMS, NVRs, IP cameras, and wireless locks). *This remote position is based in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for prospecting and developing business with key decision-makers and driving the sales process from prospect to close. The RSM will also be accountable for possessing detailed knowledge of the complete portfolio of Brivo solutions and systems and components supported through integration (such as VMS, NVRs, IP cameras, and wireless locks). *This remote position is based in Los Angeles, CA, USA.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, recruit, onboard, and cultivate new dealers in the assigned territory while growing revenue and wallet share with the existing independent and key account dealer base
- Identify key end-user opportunities for direct engagement and channel pull-through
- Respond to customer requests for information promptly
- Build an understanding of the Brivo security platform, including supported devices and integrations, and effectively demonstrate the capabilities to prospects
- Effectively communicate Brivo’s value proposition and key competitive points of differentiation for dealers and end users
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets
- Work in tandem with vertical sales teams, inside support, and field support personnel to drive world-class customer satisfaction and exceed sales quotas
- Demonstrate Brivo hardware and user interface for security consultants, system integrators, end-users, and other interested parties
- Provide system sales training for system integrators and educate prospects on the complete Brivo product portfolio
- 3+ years of security sales experience within the physical security industry - access control, video management, or related technologies
- 2+ years of experience selling in a defined territory and an established current client base preferred
- Channel field sales experience is required (not only business development, overlay, or inside sales)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in a professional manner
- Present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, well-organized way
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), and other business and AI tools
- Resides in the assigned territory, preferably near a major airport, as there will be heavy travel (up to 75%) throughout the region, as well as travel to industry trade shows, customer events, and internal meetings
