About the Role

The Regional Sales Director plays a key role in shaping a safer, more secure future by driving the growth of Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions. This role combines strategic sales leadership with consultative expertise in the employee benefits industry, focusing on expanding our presence across the western U.S. You’ll serve as the primary liaison to the broker community, leading efforts to prospect, negotiate, and onboard new employer clients and benefit brokers. Through education, relationship-building, and strategic insight, you’ll help brokers and employers understand the value of our identity protection and financial wellness offerings in today’s evolving benefits landscape.

 

Mission and Goals

  • Champion Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions across the employee benefits ecosystem.
  • Drive new business acquisition by building strong relationships with benefit brokers, consultants, and employer clients.
  • Navigate the dynamics between healthcare-focused brokers and voluntary benefit specialists to identify high-potential opportunities.
  • Position Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions as a trusted, innovative partner in the benefits marketplace.

 

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Sales Growth: Identify, pursue, and close targeted broker and agency opportunities from lead generation through contract execution.
  • Consultative Engagement: Assess broker and client needs to develop tailored program designs and enrollment solutions.
  • Broker Education: Effectively communicate the value proposition of Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions and our full suite of identity protection and cybersecurity offerings.
  • Market Activation: Lead quarterly broker events, webinars, and educational sessions to maintain strong engagement and brand visibility.
  • CRM & Data Utilization: Use Salesforce and related tools to manage pipelines, track performance, and drive referrals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Employee Benefits leadership, Sales Enablement, Legal, Finance, and Partner Account Managers to support successful program delivery.
  • Market Insight: Stay current on industry trends to inform sales strategy.
  • Partnership with Leadership: Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager and VP of Sales on pipeline management, forecasting, and the identification of new broker and employer opportunities.

 

Competencies and Skills

  • Deep knowledge of the employee benefits landscape and broker distribution model.
  • Strong record of relationship-based selling and developing new partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success working with benefit brokers, consultants, and employer groups.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executive audiences.
  • Consultative and analytical approach to solving client challenges.
  • Familiarity with benefit enrollment platforms and insurance product design.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly collaborative, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications

  • 5–7 years of business development or sales experience in employee benefits, voluntary benefits, or insurance services.
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a consultative B2B environment.
  • Experience presenting to and negotiating with C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and sales cycles.
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% throughout the western U.S.
