Job Description

Programme & Project Management

  • Lead multiple projects across a defined region, overseeing end‑to‑end delivery from initiation through completion
  • Provide programme‑level support to regional and country leadership
  • Manage regional reporting cycles and ensure timely updates on cost, schedule, risks, issues, and benefits
  • Act as a champion for standard project management tools, processes, and data integrity

Business Case & Planning

  • Support strategy teams in developing high‑level project costs, timelines, and execution strategies
  • Facilitate cross‑functional working groups to build clear and robust business cases
  • Collaborate with workplace, design, and delivery teams to define project briefs and viable solutions
  • Develop initial schedules, project management plans, risk assessments, cost estimates, and key documentation
  • Produce and coordinate project execution documents through formal approval governance

Project Mobilisation & Delivery Support

  • Support mobilisation of approved projects, including onboarding and capability development of project teams
  • Ensure effective handover to appointed project managers and ongoing delivery readiness
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and capability uplift to project management and commercial teams
  • Act as a central escalation point for programme‑level risks, issues, and performance
  • Assure delivery partners operate within agreed scope and contractual obligations

Governance & Assurance

  • Establish and maintain project, programme, and portfolio governance frameworks
  • Lead regular governance forums, working groups, and steering committee interactions
  • Plan and deliver annual governance and assurance calendars, including reviews and approvals
  • Provide independent assurance across delivery phases, reporting, controls, and supplier performance
  • Ensure audit‑ready documentation and consistent application of project management standards

Risk, Performance & Reporting

  • Review project documentation and assurance checklists to track delivery performance
  • Ensure consistent and timely monthly reporting aligned to governance rhythms
  • Escalate performance, risk, and delivery concerns to senior stakeholders for resolution

Qualifications

  • Degree in Project Management or equivalent field
  • At least 12 years of working experience in related field, preferably from financial services industry
  • Proven experience leading multi‑project programmes across regions
  • Strong end‑to‑end project delivery capability, from business case through execution and closure
  • Deep expertise in governance, assurance, risk, and performance management
  • Track record of mobilising project teams and embedding consistent delivery standards
  • Confident senior‑stakeholder partner with experience supporting regional and country leadership
