The Regional Mentor will deliver training on solar products, manage learning tools, achieve KPIs, and mentor staff across the Easybuy channel.

About the role:
We are looking for a Regional Mentor for the Easybuy business channel in Benin Republic. He/She will be in charge of the overall knowledge transfer to the team, such as Solar Home Systems, Solar Inverter Series and Paygo Phone Product and Services, Education on collections, Systems and Applications, Skill enhancement and monthly refresher training. The Regional Mentor will report into the Country Training Manager, Benin Republic.
What you would be expected to do
- Delivering classroom and/or field training.
- Maintaining set KPIs and achieving training targets as required.
- Designing training assessments with the guidance of the Training Manager.
- Ensuring 100% adoption and usage of technology-based work tools by the Agents and Staff.
- Driving consistent & accelerated learning performance through data tools.
- Ensure timely communication of policies, training updates & changes to both the Agents and Staff.
- Collecting and providing feedback on the implementations of new tools, products and processes via the 360 Degree Feedback tool.
- Running & administration of knowledge-based platforms.
- Drive engagement & lesson completion via Litmos (learning management system).
- Induction and mentoring of field-based staff (ABMs and SSEs) in the Easybuy channel.
- Supporting the development and improvement of training materials and concepts.
- Field engagements by working with the Area Business Managers and Agents at cluster levels during the Agent recruitment process.
You might be a strong candidate if you have
- At least 2 years background in training and coaching; preferably in the areas of Sales of solar products.
- Ability to conceptualize and develop a conducive learning environment.
- Good communication (Verbal & Written) French, English and the ability to communicate in the 2 major local languages in the South Region (Fon & Yoruba) in Benin Republic.
- Skilled in Microsoft office and other visualization tools.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to travel frequently in remote areas.
- Degree in education, including knowledge of technical training background on Solar Home Systems and Inverters will be an added advantage.
- Conversant with the use of smart phones and phone applications.
- Smart rapport building and people management skills are essential.
