Join us as our new Regional Marketing / Business Development Manager for Technical Industries in North America!

In this role you’ll make an impact with:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Define and implement the regional go-to-market strategy, aligning with global marketing initiatives, and work closely with sales and technical managers to achieve Must Win Battles (MWB).

  • Business Development: Anchor business development for regional and global partnerships.

  • Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence, identify trends, and generate actionable business insights to adjust strategies and tactics; develop business cases, market analyses, and go-to-market strategies for future products.

  • New Product Development: Manage new product development projects in collaboration with R&D, commercial stakeholders, and external partners.

  • Product Portfolio Optimization: Manage regional product portfolio optimization to improve top and bottom lines in collaboration with BPUs.

  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their requirements for our biosolutions

  • Pricing and Negotiations: Drive pricing strategies and support negotiations through market and competitive insights.

  • Innovation: Champion innovation and contribute to near-to-market initiatives and new product launches.

  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between Global Marketing and regional commercial teams.

  • Marketing Communications: Set and execute the regional marketing communications plan, including managing agencies, tradeshows, events, and marketing materials.

  • Budget Management: Manage the industry marketing budget to ensure alignment with strategy and maximize business impact.

To succeed, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or technical field (MBA/MSc), preferably in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.

  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience with strong business acumen, marketing, and business development skills.

  • Relevant experience in the Fats & Oils industry (Biodiesel, Renewable Diesel, oleochemicals) is strongly preferred.

  • Strong commercial drive and ability to commercialize solutions.

  • Passion about translating market and consumer insights into value propositions.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to develop and translate strategies into actionable plans.

  • Strategic, mid to long-term mindset and demonstrated ability to develop strategic 3-5 year plans.

  • Ability to connect with stakeholders across various functions and regions.

  • Attuned to technical details and market developments to inform product development choices.

  • Structured, results-oriented, and tenacious in driving projects to completion.

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to navigate a cross-functional, global business environment.

  • Thrive in a matrix organization with informal leadership and influence without authority.

  • Drive customer-centricity and digital transformation.

Location: Franklinton, NC (hybrid)

Expected salary range: $125,000 - $155,000 base salary
