As a Regional KYC & Control Product Manager at Wise, you’ll drive the development and implementation of frictionless KYC and control solutions for the US and Canada. You will work cross-functionally with compliance, engineering, and regional teams. Your focus will be to increase conversion during onboarding and verification while reducing risks and keeping regulatory compliance. 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of KYC roadmap for the US and Canada.

  • Discover and test new solutions to identify customers and prevent fraud (such as fraud consortiums, and eKYC solutions)

  • Partner with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to improve user journeys and reduce friction.

  • Ensure fraud controls are working, tested and improved

  • Analyze data to identify trends, improve processes, and mitigate fincrime risks. This is a data heavy role.

  • Collaborate with compliance stakeholders to ensure Wise stays compliant and up to speed with evolving KYC requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management work experience preferred in a technical field

  • Proven track record of delivering products into customer’s hands.

  • Demonstrated ability to think fast, learn fast and take data informed decisions

  • Strong analytical mindset, ability to extract the signal from the noise

  • Ability to communicate a strong story from your data analysis 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have but not mandatory:

  • Domain expertise: experience with KYC or fintech.

  • SQL, Python skills

  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
