Job Summary

Build relationships and initiate new sales in assigned territories. Sales includes selling estate, business, charitable and life insurance concepts and ideas with Advisors, assisting Advisors in selling these ideas and products to their clients, and assisting them through the life insurance underwriting process once the sale is made. This includes, but is not limited to, designing cases, understanding advanced life insurance concepts, providing product recommendations, utilizing advanced marketing tools, and presenting life insurance concepts at various locations within the assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients of assigned advisors as a member of the Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) Team, providing expertise in the areas of insurance planning and risk management.
  • Assist planners in the development of financial plans in the areas of wealth transfer and business planning and intergenerational transfers
  • Responsible for the generation of life insurance revenue in these channels in the assigned region
  • Support IRM partners in the delivery of marketing programs tailored to client needs
  • Interface with support staff for the completion and placement of life insurance with clients

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers3. Effective time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a self-directed fashion
  • Experience with PC's in a Windows environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
  • Must possess and maintain appropriate FINRA registrations (e.g. Series 6 and 63)
  • Five years of proven sales experience in a retail life insurance sales or an institutional point of sales role
  • Ability to articulate and apply advanced wealth transfer and business planning concepts, and an understanding of related tax and financial implications of concepts to individual situations
  • Proficient in consultative sales
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Life Insurance licensed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced designations, such as JD, CFP, CLU, and other industry credentials
