Your team’s dynamic:

The Director, Partner Sales – West, will be responsible for driving regional partner strategy to achieve revenue objectives, strengthen channel relationships, and expand market presence across the Western United States.  This position would ideally travel up to 60% of the time. 

Your day at a glance:

  • Deliver revenue objectives for the North American channel partner organization, ensuring targets are met or exceeded. 
  • Ensure the regional partner team understands the corporate strategy behind the Genetec Channel Partner Program, extending initiatives and practices to partners in a meaningful and actionable way while maintaining a consistent partner experience. 
  • Empower a diverse team of partner-focused professionals across North America, ensuring alignment with business goals. 
  • Develop and implement strategies for channel partner engagement that promote mutual growth and enhance partner satisfaction. 
  • Provide clear vision, direction, and ongoing feedback to direct and indirect reports, ensuring the team is equipped to succeed in a dynamic market. 
  • Collaborate closely with other sales leaders and internal stakeholders to align channel strategies with overall company objectives. 
  • Act as a buffer for internal roadblocks and challenges and help act as a change agent for team members. 
  • Evaluate market trends and adjust channel partner strategies proactively to maintain a competitive edge. 
  • Oversee budget management, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize partner engagement and revenue growth. 
  • Build strong, face-to-face relationships with channel partners and regional teams. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various business units to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency. 

What makes you a great fit:

  • Must have 8+ years of experience in the security industry or the technology industry 
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communication, Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience 
  • Experience in the security industry with ability to maintain contacts at different levels  
  • Excellent presentation skills and a strong closer 
  • Ability to work in a complex sales environment  
  • Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers, integrators, consultants  
  • Must have strong time management skills  
  • Proven sales achievement / track record 

Your technical expertise:

  • Ability to work in a complex sales environment 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Experience in the security industry with ability to maintain contacts at different levels 
  • Must have strong time management skills and be a multitasker 
  • Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with customers, integrators, consultants 
  • Able to work independently within a team environment
