The Regional Director is responsible for managing all aspects of practice operations.   This leadership role includes managing daily operations at the sites, managing staff metrics and resources, maintaining budgetary and inventory controls, and ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

 

  • Coaching and mentoring of team to ensure development of our practice directors to drive improvement and growth within our units.
  • Claims and denial analysis and management, including identification of opportunities for improvement.
  • Direct all financial aspects including budget development and implementation, revenue and expense projections, and approval of purchases.
  • Outcome measurement - daily/weekly/monthly metrics - oversight, trending, action planning, and accountability towards improving our metrics.  Including leading regional huddles.
  • Facilities management to ensure a safe environment that meets regulatory requirements and Women’s Care standards.
  • Safety/regulatory rounds (partner with CSC) to ensure a safe environment that meets/or exceeds our internal policies.
  • Provider practice operations performance direction. 
  • Onboarding/ramping of new providers to achieve our revenue and growth targets.
  • Financial and business planning development including proformas for new projects, providers, and services. 
  • Provide a monthly regional operations and business review to SVP/CEO as appropriate highlighting operational outcomes, action plans, and barriers to achieving our operational success.
  • Direct and ensure our continuous improvement plans are updated, progress documented and actions are completed.
  • Provider expansion planning/recommendations based on data.
  • Support of day-to-day operations
  • Monitor financial information, analyze data generated, and adjust to meet annual financial goals.
  • Monitor, manage, and make decisions regarding the purchase of all inventory, equipment, and supplies.
  • Research and correct billing issues in tandem with the operations leadership as necessary.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop marketing strategies to enhance revenue.
  • Ensure patient satisfaction of all services rendered, address patient complaints and customer service issues as necessary.
  • Ensure medical equipment is maintained/repaired as necessary.
  • Represent the department/clinic at organizational meetings providing input and decision-making where appropriate.
  • Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
  • Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Administration or a related field.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years progressive medical practice experience; OBGYN experience preferred.
  • Computer literacy with MS Office and EMR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks (eCW).
  • Knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies.
  • Ability to adjust communications to fit the needs and level of understanding of the receiver.
  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent physician relationships, exhibit exemplary interpersonal skills and exercise sound judgment and professionalism in business and personnel matters.
  • Ability to provide leadership and influence others.
  • Ability to provide critical thinking skills, solve problems and identify solutions.
  • Knowledge of billing and insurance regulations.
  • Excellent judgment, dependability, and conscientiousness. 
  • Demonstrated high ethical standards and integrity.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.
  • Professionalism: displays positive outlook and pleasant manner, does not instigate or participate in office gossip or negativity, keeps commitments, dresses appropriately and is well groomed.
