Position Title: Regional Commercial Tire Sales Manager

Location: All of Southern California, headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, CA

Job Type: Full-Time | Direct-Hire

Pay Range: $85000 - $140,000/yr plus bonus and commission (Commission is based on sales of the salespeople + Individual Contributor commissions)

Work Setup: Onsite

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Regional Commercial Tire Sales Manager oversees all commercial tire sales operations within an assigned region, providing leadership, guidance, and support to a team of outside sales representatives and key account managers. This position is responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, and ensuring profitability across all locations under their supervision.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial tire programs, fleet service operations, and business-to-business sales. They will work closely with corporate leadership, branch managers, and manufacturer representatives to achieve sales targets and maintain the highest standards of customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of commercial tire salespeople across multiple locations.

  • Conduct regular ride-alongs, performance reviews, and training sessions to improve individual and team results.

  • Establish clear sales goals, track progress, and hold team members accountable for achieving objectives.

  • Coordinate with corporate trainers and manufacturer reps for product knowledge and sales development.


Regional Account Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key regional fleet accounts.

  • Oversee pricing strategies and customer retention initiatives.

  • Ensure consistent follow-up, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution across all accounts.

  • Identify new business opportunities and oversee territory expansion plans.


Operational Coordination

  • Collaborate with branch managers and service departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

  • Review sales reports, market trends, and competitor activity to adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Maintain consistent communication with corporate leadership on performance, opportunities, and challenges.


Administrative & Compliance

  • Prepare and review monthly sales summaries, forecasts, and performance reports.

  • Ensure all sales documentation and quotes are completed accurately and in compliance with company standards.

  • Uphold company policies, safety procedures, and brand reputation across all operations.




Requirements

MUST HAVES:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial tire sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or regional role.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial tire products, retreading, and fleet programs.

  • Proven ability to develop sales strategies, manage key accounts, and meet performance goals.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, fleet management tools, and manufacturer portals.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
