Regional Business Development Manager

Full-time · US-based · Major metro areas

Break into high-value B2B sales and build a real career.

Most sales jobs give you a commodity, a quota and a phone. This one is different.

The Global Talent Co. is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing firm that specializes in cost segregation. Cost segregation is a tax strategy that regularly puts tens, and sometimes hundreds, of thousands of dollars back into real estate investors' pockets. The work is built on trust and makes a real difference to clients. It puts you in front of sophisticated investors, CPAs and operators who are glad you called.

The company is expanding nationally and building its regional sales team from the ground up. We're hiring 5 Regional Business Development Managers, each one the local face of the business in their own market. If you're early in your sales career, hungry to learn how serious investors think and ready to grow, keep reading.

What you'll do

- Prospect and engage real estate investors across multifamily, commercial, short-term rental and high-value residential

- Build relationships with CPAs, brokers, syndicators and investor groups who refer deals your way

- Show up in your market at local real estate meetups, networking events and industry conferences

- Educate prospects on how cost segregation improves their returns (full training provided; you don't need to be a tax expert on day one)

- Qualify opportunities and hand them off cleanly to senior advisors

- Own your pipeline, manage follow-ups and keep everything moving in the CRM

- Represent the firm as a trusted, professional resource people want to work with

Who thrives here

- 1–4 years of experience in sales, business development or a client-facing role

- A natural go-getter and extrovert

- Comfortable talking to business owners and investors as a peer

- Curious, coachable and eager to master a high-value financial product

- Prefer relationship-based selling over transactional, churn-and-burn quotas

- Self-motivated and able to run your own day without hand-holding

- Comfortable going to local events solo and working a room on your own

- Excited to own and grow your local market

Nice to have

- A background in real estate, mortgage, insurance or financial services

- Experience selling B2B or professional services

- Existing connections in your local real estate community

Location

This role is US-based, and we're hiring in major metro areas. Think any city with a major-league sports team: New York, Boston, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Seattle, the San Francisco Bay Area and similar hubs. We are not hiring in Los Angeles or Chicago for this round.

What's on offer

- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission:

– $40K–$60K base for recent graduates

– $65K–$100K base for experienced candidates

– On-target earnings of 2.2–3.2x base

- A clear path to higher earnings and senior sales roles as the company grows

- Training on cost segregation, tax strategy and real estate investing

- Direct access to experienced leadership and proven sales processes

- A flexible, performance-driven environment that rewards results, not hours logged

- A long-term career in a high-margin, recession-resistant industry

Why this role is different

You won't be chasing tiny deals or selling something forgettable. Cost segregation delivers real, measurable financial value, so your conversations start from value, not pressure. If you want to learn how sophisticated investors think, build relationships that compound over time and grow into a serious sales career, this is the place to do it.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
