Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a creative, and data-driven Recruitment Marketing Strategist to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of employer branding and talent attraction strategies and campaigns to help us engage top talent and strengthen our position as an employer of choice.
Reporting to the Senior Manager in Global Communications, you’ll collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR, Communications, Marketing, and external partners to build and amplify our employer brand across digital channels. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules to include both in-office presence and telecommute/virtual work to be based from Los Angeles, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing global employer branding initiatives in partnership with the talent acquisition and communications teams
- Help ensure our employee value proposition (EVP) is represented consistently across recruitment materials, digital channels, and candidate communications
- Support content creation for the careers website, social media, digital ads, and recruitment campaigns
- Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to understand talent needs and develop targeted campaigns for hard-to-fill or priority roles
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics (traffic, conversion rates, source effectiveness), adjust strategies for continuous improvement, and provide insights to recruitment and HR stakeholders
- Manage daily operations for our asset management and social advocacy platform to support recruitment marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with internal communications and corporate marketing to ensure alignment with overall brand identity and messaging
- Conduct research on labor market trends, candidate personas, and competitor activity to support targeted recruitment efforts
- Assist in creating toolkits, templates, and guidelines for recruiters and hiring managers to enhance candidate experience
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving AECOM’s talent attraction strategy
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, HR or a related field plus at least 6 years of experience in digital marketing, recruitment marketing or a related area or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Proven success developing and managing candidate-focused marketing campaigns in a corporate or agency setting
- Ability to create engaging content for digital channels
- Familiarity with social media platforms, careers sites, or content management tools
- Understanding of recruitment trends, digital marketing best practices, personas, and candidate experience
- Familiarity with recruitment tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ATS/CRM systems (e.g. SmartRecruiters, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
- Collaborative, curious, and eager to grow in a fast-paced, global environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics and digital marketing platforms
- Experience in a high-growth or tech-driven environment
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM as it relates to job ads and career pages
- Background in branding and storytelling
- Simple graphic design or video editing skills
- Strong written and visual communication skills
