Position Overview:
The Recruiting & People Experience Specialist is a unique role blending recruitment coordination, talent acquisition, onboarding, and culture initiatives to support our high-growth technology company. Reporting to the Director of Talent, this role begins with a primary focus on recruiting coordination—scheduling, candidate communications, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience. Over time, the role will expand into full-cycle recruiting for entry- and mid-level roles and assist with culture and onboarding initiatives that help new employees thrive and feel part of our community from day one.
Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Coordination:
- Manage scheduling and logistics for interviews across teams and global time zones, creating an excellent candidate experience.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to keep hiring processes on track and aligned.
- Serve as a contact for candidates, ensuring every interaction is warm, timely, and professional.
- Post job openings, manage outreach, and build early pipelines through platforms like Greenhouse, LinkedIn and other job boards.
- Support recruiter(s) in resume review and candidate screening.
- Conduct applicant phone and virtual interviews, ensuring alignment with role requirements and company culture.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse).
- Provide hiring managers with regular updates on candidate pipelines and recruiting progress.
- Assist with recruiting programs such as referrals, diversity & inclusion, and employment branding.
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding:
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline through job boards, social media, and events.
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure our talent brand is effectively communicated across all channels.
- Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's vision and culture to attract top-tier talent.
- Contribute to sourcing strategies, competitor insights, and interview best practices.
Onboarding & Culture:
- Assist with onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and connected to our mission and values.
- Keep onboarding materials, training resources, and culture rituals up to date.
- Partner with the People & Culture Team to continuously improve orientation sessions, materials, and experiences.
- Help design and implement initiatives that build community, strengthen belonging, and promote our values.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, from company events to recognition programs.
Process Improvement & Insights:
- Gather and share data insights (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate feedback, onboarding surveys) to improve recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing both candidate and employee experience.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Systems & Tools: Experience using Greenhouse ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter to manage and source candidates.
- Proven experience recruiting for entry- and junior-level roles.
- Experience working directly with hiring managers to align on hiring needs and processes.
