As Recruiting Coordinator, you will be a critical partner to Turion’s Talent Acquisition team, ensuring a seamless, compliant, and high-quality recruiting and onboarding experience as we scale. This role is equal parts process, coordination, communication, and candidate care, and is foundational to Turion’s ability to hire quickly and well.
This is a full-time position based at our Irvine, California headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate scheduling for panel interviews, and on-site or Teams interviews.
Manage and track all pre-employment background checks, including criminal history, employment verification, and education verification.
Conduct post-offer onboarding activities, including entering new hires into the HRIS, issuing new hire packets and COIs, and ensuring background check compliance.
Maintain and audit job descriptions by requesting updates and conducting periodic reviews.
Support the Director of Recruiting & Head of HR with weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reporting and data requests.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruiting trackers and spreadsheets, including the New Hire Running List, recruiting trackers, and alumni tracking.
Assist with creating, updating, and maintaining recruiting and onboarding process documentation.
Manage new hire onboarding logistics, including orientation coordination, HRIS setup, manager communication, new hire check-ins, and benefits follow-up.
Update and maintain orientation materials and new hire documentation, including benefits information, HRIS instructions, required policies, and signature requests.
Collect interview feedback from hiring teams and ensure submission of notes into the ATS.
Maintain regular communication with candidates to keep them informed of application status.
Respond to candidate inquiries in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
Support internship program coordination and administration as required.
Support the broader HR and Talent team with special projects as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
1 year of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or a related role.
Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Self-starter mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent listening and reading comprehension.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Working knowledge of Excel, including basic formulas for data auditing and reporting.
Familiarity with employment-related laws, regulations, and recruiting best practices preferred.
Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience in a fast-paced start-up or corporate environment
Experience managing candidates in an ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday)
Self-directed with a high sense of urgency while maintaining a meticulous attention to detail
Strong customer service mindset
Excellent communicator and problem solver
Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and maintain unwavering poise under pressure
Highly organized with a knack for building relationships
Recruiting Coordinator Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000 USD
