We're on the search for a Recruiting Coordinator that is driven by both a passion for people and a drive to learn and grow. In this role, you'll partner collaboratively with our internal HQ and Store teams and provide administrative support to our Talent team. Oh, and you'll have some serious fun along the way. 


This role operates on a hybrid schedule and will require to work from our HQ located in the City of Industry, CA two days a week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead new hire orientation and other critical steps in our onboarding process. This will include scheduling, booking rooms, and securing attendance of all involved
  • Maintain our applicant tracking system Lever by posting/removing store-level jobs, adding/removing users, and maintaining accurate access for our stores
  • Manage our temp request process and keep an up-to-date log of all temps in the building
  • Run reports for various business partners pertaining to new store openings, temp usage, and ad hoc reporting and projects as needed
  • Oversee the employee referral program through weekly, companywide emails 
  • Launch posting campaigns for stores, DC, and HQ level roles
  • Support store teams on hiring process
  • Support our talent branding efforts by collaborating with the recruiting team in generating content and engaging with our social community through LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Indeed
  • Process internal promotions within the applicant tracking system
  • Collaborate and partner with Hiring Managers, cross-functional teams and vendors

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • At least 1 year of experience in HR or Recruiting, or equivalent education in a HR related field preferred
  • Passion for the People Operations function and a desire to develop and grow within it
  • Solid organizational skills and the ability to roll with the punches. The priorities in this role will shift from day to day and you'll be able to keep pace
  • Analytics and reporting skills. You're not afraid of Excel; and not knowing a new tool won't stop you from mastering it
  • An interest in music and pop culture is nice to have
  • Collaboration - it's your middle name

Hot Topic Inc. City of Industry, California, USA Office

Our office is located about 20 miles east of Downtown Los Angeles - centrally located to Los Angeles County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire.
