As a Recovery Specialist II, you will be responsible for execution of tasks related to subrogation recovery files referred by adjusters. You will be responsible for managing and resolving subrogation liens. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely resolution of all Subrogation in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. As part of the Recovery Team, the Recovery Specialist II is responsible for maintaining professional and positive rapport with all team.

What you’ll do
- Pursue subrogation recovery in one or more jurisdictions from other carriers, uninsured motorists, and other parties on auto, medical, and/or property claims.
- Aggressively achieve a fair and equitable disposition.
- Properly assess. the cause of action, collectible damages, liability, and expense exposures
- Responsible for final disposition of the claim including the use of arbitration or litigation.
- Provide guidance and support to clients, attorneys, and internal teams regarding lien resolution strategies and best practices.
- Review claim files to evaluate recovery potential and take appropriate action in support of recovery strategy.
- Review files, enter data into claim system, prepare and submit subrogation file, process recovery payments.
- Negotiate within settlement authority with third parties and other carriers.
- Communicate with internal and external partners, including but not limited to clients, claimants, attorneys, service providers, recovery agencies, governmental entities, and other carriers
- Drive and monitor litigation management process through the selection of counsel, evaluation and direction of claim and litigation strategy.
- Refer cases to outside recovery agencies and attorneys when necessary
- Initiate arbitration or oversee files in arbitration and litigation.
- Report trends to Senior Claims Recovery Manager.

- Demonstrate proficiencies with computer software
- Deep understanding of the mediation process in both state and federal courts, including relevant case and statuary law and procedure
- Demonstrate proficiencies with computer software
- Familiarity of public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable
