Records Management Specialist

As part of our Records Management Team the Specialist will assist with scanning physical documents and uploading/processing electronic documents while performing quality assurance. They maintain department manuals and can create training materials where needed.

What You'll Do:

  • You will perform research related to policy and or claim using Claims Portal, MRM Portal, PEPSC, HUON, and ICON. Including phone and email requests.

  • You'll upload media files related to claims, including photos, video, and large documents from flash drives and CD’s.

  • You will prepare, scan, and process claim checks plus DMV documents related to claims.

  • You will assist with Claim filing – keying files, scanning requests, and destruction of claim files based on retention guidelines.

  • You'll process document requests and mailing out requested documents via interoffice mail, FedEx, or USPS.

  • You will maintain and create department manuals.

  • You'll coordinate work processes with other departments to benefit department workflows.

What You'll Need:

  • 1-2 Years of Records Management experience or related job experience.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, and Excel required.

  • Familiarity with Enterprise Data Management software (such as Kofax Capture and Data Cap desired.

  • Keyboard forty-plus (40+) words per minute; attention to detail.

  • Intermediate knowledge of printing, copying, scanning; basic knowledge of databases a plus.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$19.60 - $26.10
