REPORTS TO: Office Manager

WORK SCHEDULE: In office Monday - Friday 7:30-4:00

The Role:

The team at Sunbit is looking for a self-motivated and ambitious Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our Administrative team. Your primary duties will be to manage the daily needs of our office and provide support to various team members. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a smart, driven and organized professional who has demonstrated their ability to execute projects, problem-solve and work with multiple shifting priorities. This role is based in our Westwood Los Angeles Office HQ and is required to be in person Monday-Friday.


Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked office environment on a daily basis
  • Manage inventory and place orders for office supplies as needed
  • Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments and deliveries, including responsibility for daily USPS pickup
  • Greet and assist office visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Support onboarding of new hires, including workspace setup and orientation coordination
  • Coordinate and oversee internal office moves, including seating assignments and logistics
  • Schedule meetings for team members with complex or conflicting availability
  • Reconcile and submit expense reports for members of the Management Team
  • Provide light administrative support to Management Team members as needed
  • Oversee maintenance schedules and service requests for office equipment (e.g., copier, fax, phones)
  • Assist with the coordination of office safety, wellness, and employee experience initiatives
  • Serve as a point of contact and provide day-to-day support for employees working onsite

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in an office coordination, administrative, or similar support role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with calendar management and meeting coordination
  • Solid understanding of general office operations and processes
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to think both short- and long-term when addressing issues
  • Must be able to work autonomously and thrive in an environment with minimal day-to-day interaction with colleagues

How We Pay:

  • We believe in paying fairly and equitably based on a number of factors including but not limited to previous experience, relevant work history, interview performance, geographical location, internal equity, and expected level of ownership 
  • We are targeting $25-26/hour for this role
  • This role will also be granted company equity via stock options
