Working on the Growth Department

We’re seeking a dynamic Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our Provider Engagement team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in nutrition to educate members and providers, showcase the importance of healthy eating through engaging events, and build meaningful relationships with partners in the nutrition and wellness space.

What You’ll Get to Do

• Report to the Senior Account Manager who oversees California health plans.

• Build and maintain relationships with provider offices and community partners to promote Tangelo’s mission.

• Deliver tailored nutritional guidance through educational materials, workshops, and personalized member interactions.

• Support enrollment of individuals to Tangelo both in-person and via web meetings.

• Provide MNT as required by health plans for participating individuals.

• Create impactful content such as instructional videos, cooking demonstrations, podcasts, and social media posts that resonate with diverse audiences.

• Serve as a Tangelo ambassador by presenting at events, webinars, and panel discussions, effectively communicating the importance of nutrition and Tangelo’s value to communities.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) with an active license.

• Proven experience in Community Outreach, Provider Engagement, or similar roles.

• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to tailor messages to varied audiences.

• Creativity and confidence in content creation, including video, podcast, and social media formats.

• Passion for nutrition education and improving community health outcomes.

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.

• Must be located in/near Ventura. Up to 2-3 days of travel expected per week within the assigned region.

Compensation Philosophy (Full-time Employees)

The compensation range listed represents the total cash value, which includes a combination of base salary and an annual bonus or variable compensation. This range does not account for equity, which is included in the overall compensation package.
Compensation estimates are based on market data about the role and level, while individual compensation offers will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
