The Quantitative Analyst will develop financial models, analyze data, forecast financial performance, conduct risk analysis, and collaborate with business leaders to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Overview:
We're seeking a highly analytical Quantitative Analyst to join our FP&A team, leveraging advanced mathematical, statistical, and programming skills to build sophisticated models that enhance forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning, transforming complex data into actionable business insights.
What you will do:
Model Development: Design, build, and maintain advanced financial models (forecasting, valuation, scenario analysis, budgeting) using quantitative techniques.
Data Analysis: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, variances, risks, and opportunities impacting financial performance.
Forecasting & Planning: Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and econometrics to improve accuracy in financial projections and strategic plans.
Risk & Performance: Conduct risk analysis, backtesting, and performance monitoring of financial models and business drivers.
Business Partnering: Collaborate with finance, operations, and business leaders to translate quantitative findings into clear recommendations for strategic decisions.
Automation: Develop automated reporting and analysis tools to streamline FP&A processes.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed analyses, dashboards, and presentations to senior management.
What you need to succeed:
Education: Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Stats, Comp Sci, or related quantitative field (advanced degrees preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Jedox, Scripting languages (Python), R/MATLAB, SQL, statistical modeling, data manipulation, advanced Excel, financial modeling.
Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, financial markets, and risk management.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
Experience: Proven experience in financial analysis, data science, or quantitative modeling.
