Position Summary
The Specialty Quality Specialist reviews prescription and/or service complaints to understand the cause of the reported experience. The review process includes the identification of root cause, contributing factors, and trends related to the Specialty patient experience. Quality incidents are entered into the appropriate database tracking system. Further, the Quality Specialist supports the maintenance of reporting leveraged by leaders of the Specialty Quality and Pharmacy Operations departments. The role ensures timely and accurate data population to satisfy business needs and performance guarantees. The Quality Specialist must proactively identify process improvement opportunities, support changes that improve member experience and help coordinate cross functionally to ensure consistency in the Review process

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of SPRx experience

  • 1+ year of Specialty Event Tracker Database experience (SEVE)

  • Proven ability to support and manage multi-faceted initiatives.

  • Demonstrate effective and high-quality execution to meet deliverables and tasks in appropriate timelines.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills/techniques

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Demonstrate flexibility in supporting rapid adjustments to strategy and priorities to meet changing business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years prior related work experience

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Associates degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $31.72

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
