About the Program:

Join Wing's 12-week paid summer internship! This is a hybrid, in-person program based in Palo Alto, CA, with start dates in May or June. Eligible candidates must be a current student enrolled in a degree program and intend to return to the program after the completion of the summer internship. 

About the Role:

Wing is looking for a Field Quality Intern to join our Quality team based in Palo Alto, CA.  Our team evaluates the quality of our product from design (prototype) to components to contract manufacturers and the field.

In this role you will:

  • Simplify Nest cable management and layouts to make them easier to build and maintain.
  • Identify points of failure in the current system and develop mitigations
  • Engage with cross-functional Design, Manufacturing, and Operations Teams to develop and implement appropriate design improvements
  • Support in developing roadmap for updating all existing and future Nests to incorporate mitigations and design improvements

What You’ll Need: 

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, or related field, graduating between December 2026 and August 2027
  • Mechanical Drafting (SolidWorks) and Electrical Wiring Diagram creation experience
  • Strategic mindset to understand the needs and comprehend requirement which can be converted to actionable and viable plans 
  • Ability to work independently to investigate issues and communicate findings to cross-functional teams
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills

The US base salary range for this internship position is the salary range below + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

Salary Range
$112,000$117,000 USD
