About the Role:Craft is seeking a motivated and skilled QA Engineer, with experience in manual and automation testing (we are currently using Cucumber, Capybara and Cypress).

What You’ll Do:Work in small, empowered cross-functional teams with team members from Design, Product, Full Stack Engineers and Data Engineers, to drive complex features from start to finish
Conduct manual and automation testing (backend and frontend). We value learning and growing together instead of knowledge of every specific technology
Work closely with the designers to analyze and discuss the best practices of UX/UI
Advocate for modern QA best practices
Be encouraged to learn more about how a product works and suggest any improvements
As a part of a team, you always influence making decisions and processes
Have unlimited opportunity for taking ownership of features and improve quality in different areas
3+ years of experience working as a QA Engineer embedded within software development teams
Agile/Scrum experience
Experience with both automation and manual testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, Gherkin or similar
Experience with test management tools and test automation using CI/CD (Github Actions, CircleCI)
Experience with GIT
API testing experience (GraphQL)
Performance and/or security testing experience is a bonus
Self-starter, independent, likes to take initiative
Detail and process oriented
Show curiosity through asking questions, digging into new technologies, and always trying to grow
Competitive salary starting at $125,000 USD/ year. This starting number can be increased based on levels of expertise, location, cost of living, taxes, market experience, etc.
