We are a post-Series B high-growth technology company backed by top-tier investors in Silicon Valley and Europe, headquartered in San Francisco with hubs in Seattle, London, and Warsaw. We support remote and hybrid work, with team members across North America, Canada, and Europe.

We're looking for innovative and driven people passionate about building the future of Enterprise Intelligence to join our growing team!

About the Role:

Craft is seeking a motivated and skilled QA Engineer, with experience in manual and automation testing (we are currently using Cucumber, Capybara and Cypress).

Craft gives engineers a lot of responsibility, which is matched by our investment in their growth and development. We are growing quickly, and the only limits to your future growth with Craft are your interests and abilities.

What You’ll Do:
  • Work in small, empowered cross-functional teams with team members from Design, Product, Full Stack Engineers and Data Engineers, to drive complex features from start to finish

  • Conduct manual and automation testing (backend and frontend). We value learning and growing together instead of knowledge of every specific technology

  • Work closely with the designers to analyze and discuss the best practices of UX/UI

  • Advocate for modern QA best practices

  • Be encouraged to learn more about how a product works and suggest any improvements

  • As a part of a team, you always influence making decisions and processes

  • Have unlimited opportunity for taking ownership of features and improve quality in different areas

Who You Are:
  • 3+ years of experience working as a QA Engineer embedded within software development teams

  • Agile/Scrum experience

  • Experience with both automation and manual testing

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, Gherkin or similar

  • Experience with test management tools and test automation using CI/CD (Github Actions, CircleCI)

  • Experience with GIT

  • API testing experience (GraphQL)

  • Performance and/or security testing experience is a bonus

  • Self-starter, independent, likes to take initiative

  • Detail and process oriented

  • Show curiosity through asking questions, digging into new technologies, and always trying to grow

What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary starting at $125,000 USD/ year. This starting number can be increased based on levels of expertise, location, cost of living, taxes, market experience, etc.

  • Equity at a well-funded, fast-growing startup

  • Unlimited vacation time so you can take what you need, when you need it

  • 99% covered Health + Dental + Vision insurance for employees and dependents

  • 401K through Empower with options to invest how you want it

A Note to Candidates:

We are an equal opportunity employer who values and encourages diversity, equity and belonging at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, caste, or disability status.

Don’t meet every requirement? Studies have shown that women, communities of color and historically underrepresented talent are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Craft, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we strongly encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles!

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
