The Quality Engineer will oversee quality assurance in PCBA manufacturing, develop quality control plans, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
Job description - Quality Engineer (PCBA Manufacturing)
EDUCATION: B.S. or M.B.A in Engineering or Electronic related field.
Knowledge of SMT, PC Board Assembly. PCBA experience is preferable.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2+ year experience in PCBA or Manufacturing Quality Control or Manufacturing Production.
LANGUAGE: English proficiency in speaking & writing required. Mandarin is a plus.

SKILLS:
- Experience developing process quality control plans and driving corrective actions and failure analysis efforts. (Provide on-the job training)
- Working knowledge of mechanical quality and reliability concepts, supplier management, and general manufacturing operations.
- Develops and initiates methods for inspection, testing and evaluation on PCBA assembly. (Provide on-the job training)
- Supports Manufacturing Engineers and Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.
- Assures data availability and integrity for all quality.
- Creates and analyses NPI and Mass Production reports. (Provide on-the job training)
- Analyses returned products and recommended correction action.
- Decision making ability coupled with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Technical knowledge about the operation of their assigned product to perform.
- Troubleshooting to determine whether a problem is process, vendor or design related.
- Ensure production process compliance with customer requirements.
- Know essential quality tools in problem solving (8D, Fish Bone,..)
- Operation of measurement tools and equipment including the theory of operation, maintenance, and calibration.
- Creating and maintaining documentation such as quality control plans or procedures for inspection and testing of products and/or components.
- Performing tests and measurements using existing measurement equipment.
- Join Quality Committee to conduct ISO Internal and 5S audit.
- Provides liaison to various regulatory bodies.
- Participating in teams to help make necessary improvements and changes to all process related issues in the Production department.
