This is a remote position.

Atlas Advisors is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities supporting the delivery of translation and interpretation services. The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the project's Quality Management System (QMS), monitoring contract performance, managing audits and corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and applicable quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with project leadership, customer representatives, and operational personnel to drive continuous improvement and maintain high levels of service quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management System (QMS).

  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, policies, and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain the Quality Management Plan (QMP) and supporting quality documentation.

  • Monitor contract performance through established quality metrics and key performance indicators.

  • Prepare and submit required quality reports and performance documentation.

  • Conduct internal audits, inspections, and quality reviews.

  • Monitor corrective and preventive action programs and verify implementation and effectiveness.

  • Investigate nonconformances, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Track customer feedback and satisfaction metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Coordinate quality-related activities with project management, operational personnel, and customer representatives.

  • Maintain records and documentation supporting contract compliance and audit readiness.

  • Support customer audits, inspections, assessments, and performance reviews.

  • Monitor subcontractor quality performance and compliance when applicable.

  • Provide quality-related guidance and training to project personnel.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or quality management roles supporting government, defense, international, or large-scale service contracts.

  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing Quality Management Systems.

  • Experience supporting ISO 9001-compliant quality programs.

  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and corrective action management.

  • Experience developing quality metrics, performance indicators, and reporting processes.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to develop technical reports, quality documentation, and process improvement plans.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management reporting tools.

  • Ability to travel throughout Poland and other customer-designated locations as required.

Desired Qualifications

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Internal Auditor, Quality Manager, or similar professional certification.

  • Experience supporting translation, interpretation, linguist, professional services, or operational support contracts.

  • Experience supporting international organizations, government customers, or multinational programs.

  • Experience managing subcontractor quality programs.

  • Familiarity with corrective action systems, root cause analysis methodologies, and continuous improvement processes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Location and Environment

This position is based remotely in Poland. Periodic travel to customer locations, training sites, and logistics facilities throughout Poland may be required. The Quality Control Manager supports contract performance through audits, inspections, reporting, and quality oversight and must be capable of supporting a dynamic operational environment, including occasional support outside normal business hours.
