Company Description

We are seeking a highly qualified detail-oriented Inspector to join our team. The Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming products meet Emtek’s quality standards, specifications, regulatory and safety requirements. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong judgmental skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the inspection process.

Job Description

  • Conduct precise visual and dimensional inspections of incoming, in-process and finished parts using a variety of measuring tools and gauges, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify part dimensions and ensure compliance with customer or industry standards.
  • Accurately document inspection results, including measurements, deviations, and findings, and maintain detailed inspection records for quality assurance and traceability.
  • Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from specifications to the quality team and production staff. Work with engineering and production to recommend corrective actions.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance, engineering, and production teams to troubleshoot quality issues and ensure the highest level of product quality.
  • Ability to understand and identify Emtek’s approved finishes.
  • Ability to follow Emtek’s safety policies and practices

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other software systems is a plus.
  • Ability to sit/stand for long period of time.
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Team players with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
