Are you a quality-driven professional with a passion for pharmaceutical distribution and regulatory excellence? GE HealthCare is looking for a Responsible Person (RP) to lead our Wholesale Distribution Quality Assurance operations in the UK. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and compliant distribution of life-enhancing healthcare products.
Your Mission
As the designated RP under our UK Wholesale Dealer’s Authorisation, you’ll be the cornerstone of our Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance. You’ll oversee the quality and integrity of our distributed products, working closely with third-party logistics (3PL) partners, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to uphold the highest standards.
ResponsibilitiesChampion the Quality Management System for GDP across the UK.
Manage inbound release of medicinal products to our UK 3PL warehouse.
Act as the RP for warehouse storage and outbound deliveries to UK customers.
Lead supplier qualification audits and quality agreements with 3PLs and carriers.
Drive risk management, change control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Be the go-to expert for customer complaints, product recalls, and regulatory inspections.
Deliver impactful GDP training and support internal and external quality audits.
A degree in pharmacy, chemistry, biology, medicine, or a related life science.
Eligibility to act as a Responsible Person under UK WDA requirements.
UK residency is essential.
Ideally, prior experience as an RP and experienced in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of GDP, auditing, and regulatory engagement.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
High degree of self-motivation.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
