We develop a suite of tools to prepare, validate and monitor jobs for our 3D printers. These tools present users with a 3D view of the CAD models, allow them to add supports and other markup, show the resulting print instructions and help monitor long running compute processes to prepare the files.
We need a QA Engineer who is able to design tests from the perspective of a 3D printing applications engineer and consistently implement those tests as part of our validation and release processes. Additional responsibilities will include coordinating and driving our release process and working with our dev ops and software engineering teammates to automate tests that can be automated.
Responsibilities
Design and implement test plans for testing out desktop tools
Work with applications engineers to reproduce and triage bugs
Drive the release process for our desktop tools
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience
Familiarity with CAD-like desktop apps
Either experience with designing tests for and testing desktop software or experience with 3D printing
Optional experience with Qt applications
Experience working with software engineers
Experience working with technical users of software
