We are looking for a QA Analyst Intern to join us for our Obsidian University Internship Program. Come help us make our next world-class roleplaying game!

Bring strong attention to detail and familiarity with a wide variety of game genres and platforms, including RPGs. Spend the summer learning from every discipline involved in making games by working side-by-side with our world-class developers. Help build fantastic worlds and contribute to the next great Obsidian Entertainment title.

 Responsibilities
  • Test game features and content to ensure the final product matches the intended design

  • Log clear and detailed bug reports, verify fixes, and help maintain the bug database

  • Collaborate with other team members to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues

  • Develop, update, and execute test plans to track testing and development progress

  • Collect data, contribute in strike team meetings, and share feedback to support game development

Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail, including the ability to analyze complex game systems and mechanics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Pluses
  • An unquenchable thirst for learning

  • Previous experience testing games or other software

  • Experience creating game mods, participating in game jams, or doing any other hobbyist game development

  • Passion for gaming and the games Obsidian makes

The estimated base pay range for this role is:

  • $22.00 - 26.00 per hour
