CA - Westlake VillageWhat you'll do:
As a Quality Control Due Diligence Workflow Specialist, you'll be responsible for the due diligence administrative functions for various trades, including Whole Loan trades, Non-CRA trades, MSR transactions sold to private investors, etc. You'll be responsible for creating the record and be the primary point of contact with our third-party investors. You'll also be responsible for the intake of new findings provided by the third-party investors and tracking their progress through the different stages of review. You'll need to closeout the trade in the system and provide reporting to the management teams.- Deliver loan files and conditions to investors. Manage the pipelines of the Due Diligence staff to ensure conditions move through the process.
- Work with multiple deadlines simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities or assignments. Interact with operations and/or correspondent sellers to clear open deficiencies.
- Track requests and due dates using SalesForce system.
What you'll need:
- 4+ years of related experience in Mortgage Quality Control or similar field.
- High school diploma required; Some college or technical training preferred.
- Entry level knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and services.
- Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, etc). Understanding of database architecture.
- Entry level knowledge of Salesforce preferred. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) preferred.
