One of Pine Services’ Operating Companies is seeking a QAD Finance Business Consultant to support ERP implementations and financial transformation initiatives for manufacturing and product-based organizations.
This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who combines strong functional accounting knowledge with QAD ERP experience and enjoys partnering with clients to improve financial processes, reporting, and operational performance.
We are open to a range of experience levels and will scope responsibilities based on demonstrated expertise and leadership capability.
The QAD Finance Business Consultant partners with clients to analyze financial operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements within QAD ERP environments. This role supports budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, and financial reporting initiatives while helping organizations optimize performance and maintain compliance.
Depending on experience, you may lead client engagements, guide transformation initiatives, and serve as a strategic advisor to executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze financial data, operational metrics, and business requirements.
- Support or lead ERP finance implementations and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare financial models, cost analyses, and forecasting reports.
- Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and production variances.
- Ensure ERP financial data integrity through validation and internal review processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and financial reporting optimization.
- Deliver client presentations, documentation, and training sessions.
- Advise leadership teams on financial process improvements and performance drivers (as experience allows).
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–15+ years of finance, QAD ERP, or consulting experience.
- Strong expertise in core finance functions, including:
- Cost Accounting & Product Costing
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Fixed Assets
- General Ledger & Financial Reporting
- Balance Sheet and P&L analysis
- Experience supporting ERP systems in manufacturing or product-based environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working with executive-level stakeholders preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with manufacturing-focused ERP systems (QAD).
- Industry experience in Life Sciences, Automotive, Electronics, CPG, or Food & Beverage.
- Prior consulting experience.
- Background in a senior finance role (Controller, Director of Finance, etc.) is a plus.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or related certifications preferred.
