This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Software Test to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will work closely with the development team to identify, document, and resolve issues while ensuring the software meets all required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate requirements, specifications, functions, performance, reliability, usability, testability, scalability, and security within the software.
  • Assess new/modified software programs and development procedures to ensure they function according to user requirements
  • Use business requirements and test scenarios to create detailed manual test cases.
  • Strive to develop well-thought-out, reusable testing scripts.
  • Track and analyze quality assurance metrics, including defects, defect counts, and test results.
  • Convert manual test cases into automated test cases using automated testing tools.
  • Offer insights and recommendations on testing environments, change management procedures, and testing tools.
  • Understand and translate customer business requirements and needs into test cases with expected results.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and maintain regular communication with users and systems programmers to compile comprehensive requirements and resolve issues.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a software testing or business analyst role.
  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience conducting systems integration testing (SIT)
  • Experience in SDLC methodologies, Agile, SCRUM/Waterfall and best practices
  • Advanced English
  • Comprehensive understanding of multiple software testing methodologies and processes.
  • Proficient with QA tools, such as JIRA, TestRail and QTest.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Experience with automated testing a plus
  • CSTE certification is a plus.
