Responsibilities

- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests to ensure software quality.
- Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and provide feedback on technical specifications.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and recommend solutions.
- Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
- Document testing processes and results for compliance and future reference.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Assist in the development of quality assurance metrics and reporting.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
