QA Manager
We're looking for a dedicated QA Manager to help ensure every AllTrails user experience meets the highest standards of quality and reliability. In this role, you'll guide and mentor a skilled team, build and scale thoughtful QA strategies, and foster a culture rooted in curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Managing and mentoring a team of experienced and passionate quality engineers
- Developing manual QA strategy, methodology, discipline and framework
- Monitoring and analyzing key process and quality metrics; driving corrective and preventive action plans to ensure ongoing improvement
- Providing technical expertise in Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools and Techniques
- Fostering a quality, accountability, and collaboration culture across the organization
Requirements
- 5+ years QA experience
- 2+ years of QA Management experience
- Excellent knowledge of Risk Identification, Risk Management and Risked Based Testing
- Strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, ideally in a continuous delivery environment
- Self motivation and a deep sense of pride in your work
- Scrappy, creative problem solver who is willing to dive in wherever is needed
- Passion for the outdoors
- Comfort with ambiguity and an instinct for moving quickly
- Humility, empathy and open-mindedness - no egos
- AI Native: You naturally incorporate AI tools to enhance your work. You’re comfortable writing prompts, evaluating AI outputs, and enjoy experimenting with new ways to boost creativity, productivity, and decision-making.
Nice to Have
- Experience with backend and/or web application testing from design to release
- Experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Experience with SQL and databases
- Familiarity with ZenDesk, UnitQ
