About Pirros

We are building Intelligence for design production and reshaping how architecture and engineering firms manage design details and project knowledge.

Pirros is an AI-powered project hub purpose-built for architects and engineers. Our platform helps AECO professionals - architects, engineers, contractors, and owners - streamline detail management, improve consistency, reduce errors, and accelerate project delivery.

We’re building the system of record for design production in a $12T+ industry that has long been underserved by modern software and workflows.

Why Join Pirros

  • Backed by leading investors including YC, Funders Club, PlanGrid, and Elephant

  • Profitable business with $7M+ ARR and growing 10% month-over-month

  • Closed a $17M Series A in 2025

  • 350+ firms actively using Pirros today, including some of the top AEC firms in the country

  • 140% net revenue retention

  • Founders come directly from the structural engineering industry

  • Competitive compensation package - salary, equity, unlimited PTO, and full benefits

  • High-trust, high-autonomy culture with experienced builders and operators

  • Opportunity to solve meaningful problems for the people designing the world around us

What You’ll Own
  • Own manual testing for new features, bug fixes, and product releases.

  • Create and execute clear test plans, test cases, and regression testing processes.

  • Perform functional, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing across the product.

  • Test frontend workflows, APIs, integrations, authentication, permissions, and data accuracy.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and Customer Success to identify risks and edge cases early.

  • Reproduce, document, and track bugs with clear steps, expected behavior, and supporting details.

  • Validate bug fixes and ensure changes do not introduce regressions.

  • Help improve QA processes, release readiness standards, and overall product quality.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience manually testing web-based software products.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, regression testing, and exploratory testing.

  • Experience testing frontend applications, APIs, integrations, and complex user workflows.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and inconsistencies.

  • Ability to use browser developer tools, inspect network activity, and troubleshoot issues with engineers.

  • Experience with bug-tracking and test-management tools.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize testing efforts, and operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Familiarity with modern web applications built with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React is a plus.

Who You Are:

  • You think like a customer, not just a tester and catch issues before they become customer problems

  • You take ownership of quality across the entire development lifecycle

  • You can work in ambiguity and bring structure where processes are still evolving

  • You are comfortable challenging assumptions and asking the right questions early

  • You care deeply about building a product that is reliable, intuitive, scalable, and trusted by customers

Pirros believes diverse perspectives and experiences make both our product and culture stronger. We are committed to building an inclusive workplace and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity or expression, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.

Pirros is committed to fair and equitable compensation. Compensation packages are determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and performance, and include salary, equity, and benefits.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
