We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Core Team. You will own manual testing across our core OSINT data collection and parsing services, verifying data quality, validating search and aggregation functionality, and working closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to keep a complex, high-stakes product reliable in production.
Your Tasks Will Be
- Performing manual testing of REST APIs
- Testing data collection and parsing from publicly available sources (Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, websites, and other online platforms)
- Verifying data quality, completeness, consistency, and correctness after parsing and processing
- Verifying stability of parsing results, performing load testing of parsing services
- Preparing Python scripts for load testing
- Validating search functionality, filtering, data aggregation
- Investigating issues using application logs, Kibana logs, API responses and Zabbix triggers
- Collaborating closely with developers, analysts, product owners, technical support and other development teams throughout the development lifecycle, proactively participating in product meetings
- Assisting the Technical Support team with incident handling
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Manual QA
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and test design techniques
- Active involvement in the software development process at the planning and feature design stage
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools
- Understanding of HTTP, JSON, request/response lifecycle, authentication, and status codes
- Ability to analyze API responses, application logs, Kibana logs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in Scrum teams
- English: B1+ level
- Russian: B2+ level
Nice to Have
- Experience testing OSINT, data collection, web scraping, or social media monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and other public information sources
- Basic understanding of Python
- Experience with container management platforms such as Rancher, Kubernetes
- Experience with test automation of parsing systems and maintaining parsing data examples
