The QA Automation Intern will develop and execute automated test scripts, analyze software components, and assist in quality assurance efforts in a team-driven environment.
Job Summary:
We are looking to add a highly motivated QA Automation Intern to our team. You will work as part of a team responsible for the testing and verification of a complex asset management application and supporting products. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and analyzing test plans to assist our development team with ensuring the delivery of quality software applications. The QA Automation Intern will be immersed in our software development lifecycle and gain firsthand knowledge and experience of working in the development and testing environment.Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and execute automated front-end and/or API test scripts.
- Research, test, and analyze different software components within the FleetFocus suite of software applications.
- Use version control system (Git) to check automated tests into CI/CD pipeline to continuously run automated testing.
- Work closely with development and QA team members to achieve release goals.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by the QA Manager, including some manual testing.

Qualifications:
- Pursuit of a degree in Computer Science or a similar field
- Programming experience in C# (preferred), Java, or equivalent
- Ability to write basic SQL commands.
- Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, RestSharp, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with source control systems and processes (Git, branching, merges, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with AI usage in software development is a strong asset
