The Role:
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high product quality, identify potential bugs early, and reduce manual testing overhead. You must be comfortable writing code, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and thinking like a user.
What You’ll Do:
Test Automation Development
Design and implement scalable, maintainable automation frameworks for web and mobile apps
Write reusable test scripts using tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or Appium
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Cross-Platform Testing
Perform cross-browser, cross-device compatibility testing
Support mobile test automation (iOS and Android) using relevant tools
Test Case Management
Collaborate with product and development teams to write detailed test cases from requirements
Maintain test coverage across major user flows, APIs, and edge cases
Identify and track bugs
Perform root cause analysis and work closely with devs to reproduce and resolve issues
Log bugs with detailed reproduction steps and diagnostics using Jira or similar
Quality Metrics & Reporting
Track test results, coverage, and regression impact
Generate QA reports and dashboards to monitor test health and product readiness
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
3+ years of experience in automation testing and quality assurance
Proficient in one or more languages: Typescript, JavaScript, Python, Java
Hands-on experience with: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium
API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured
Version control systems (Git)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based release cycles
Strong debugging and analytical skills
Solid understanding of software testing principles and QA processes
