About the Job

Keeper Security is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to ensuring the quality and reliability of Keeper’s backend and front-end systems. You will design and implement scalable automation frameworks, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to deliver high-quality web applications at speed and scale. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly support Keeper’s mission of providing secure, seamless solutions to millions of users worldwide

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing of web applications and APIs
  • Create and manage end-to-end automated test cases using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities throughout the SDLC
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce automation best practices, and mentor junior automation engineers
  • Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently
  • Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve automated test suite health across multiple environments
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new automation tools, technologies, and frameworks
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong focus on web applications and APIs
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript and Python
  • Hands-on experience with modern test automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Jest, TestNG)
  • Expertise with REST APIs, HTTP, and modern web technologies
  • Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or Karate
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools and workflows
  • Experience working with version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Experience with containerized and cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
