As a QA Automation Analyst at Renewed Vision, you will play a key role in the software release cycle by creating and maintaining automated test cases, and troubleshooting test results. You will work closely with the development team to accurately report defects and validate fixes in a timely manner. Your knowledge and expertise will contribute to developing testing workflows and processes that ensure the delivery of software that meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate automated test cases to validate existing and new functionality of the software, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
  • Update test cases as needed to maintain alignment with current behavior of the software to maintain accuracy of test results.
  • Utilize analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and correctly identify issues, and report issues in a timely manner with clear and concise communication.
  • Work closely with QA, developers, and other stakeholders to identify, report, and validate issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive continual process improvements by developing and maintaining testing workflows and processes to maximize quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain proficiency with Renewed Vision’s products, services, and integrations.

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of ProPresenter and its expected behaviors.
  • Prior experience in Quality Assurance or similar field.
  • Experience with test management (such as TestRail) and issue-tracking tools (such as Jira).
  • Familiarity with source control management tools (such as Git).
  • Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (such as Python, Javascript, Powershell, or Bash).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
  • The capability to work both independently and collaboratively within the framework of a team.
