We are looking for a Python Developer with a diverse skill set. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Python development, with experience in designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality software solutions. The primary focus will be on developing applications for acquiring, storing, and calculating on large volumes of data using mathematical formulas.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement complex Python data computation applications.
  • Lead the design and implementation of key features and components of our product suite.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and maintainability through linting and automated testing.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure software deliverables meet high-quality standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven 9+ Years of experience as a Senior Python Developer primarily backend applications
  • Strong knowledge of Python and familiarity with various Python libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Flask, Django, Fast API
  • Understanding of code quality, DevSecOps, and automated testing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience in leading a team or mentoring junior developers is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
  • Experience Analytical platforms like Snowflake
  • Experience with financial services data

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 40,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 142,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is not available for independent contractors
