Job Title: Associate Manager, PX Excellence
Reports to:  Sr. Director, PX Excellence
Location:  Goleta, CA

The Role

The Associate Manager, PX Excellence will be responsible for managing global PX programs and projects, ensuring their successful execution and alignment with company goals. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, PX leadership, and external partners to oversee PX initiatives from inception to completion. The role demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong project management skills, and has a passion for driving positive change within an organization.

Additionally, the Associate Manager, PX Excellence provides comprehensive support to the Chief People Officer and the broader PX team, acting as a “hub” ensuring the smooth functioning and efficient operations of the broader team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to juggle various tasks, anticipate needs, and build strong working relationships across departments.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

Executive Support to Chief People Officer

  • Provide direct administrative support to CPO include managing calendars, meetings, and appointments.
  • Help prepare and edit presentations, reports, and other documents.
  • Coordinate and manage complex travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, and transportation.
  • Organize and schedule internal and external meetings, ensuring all materials, agendas, and logistics are prepared.
  • Take notes and record minutes during meetings, ensuring follow-up on action items.

PX Excellence & Operational Flow

  • Analyze existing PX programs and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and global consistency where relevant.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for PX programs and processes.
  • Continuously assess effectiveness and gather feedback to refine and improve program and process strategies.
  • Own and manage the global PX Teams chat/channel and condition people to use it as a source for critical updates.
  • Manage the Global PX Meeting cadence and agenda to ensure teams are focused on the right priorities.
  • Organize, prepare, coordinate, and run meetings including running the agendas, gathering information/documents, coordination, follow up on action items and summarize meeting notes and core insights and takeaways.
  • Manage and coordinate PX meetings & team events, including location, catering, and communication with attendees.
  • Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and management of the PX department’s budget, ensuring expenses align with the department’s financial goals.
  • Ensure PX leaders track and reconcile department expenditures, ensuring they are within budgetary constraints.

PX Program Management

  • Support and manage key, global PX projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Support the execution of strategic initiatives by managing associated activities, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between various PX functions and departments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PX Excellence program-related inquiries and requests from various departments.
  • Provide operational support to PX leadership, assisting with team meetings, documentation, and reporting as needed.

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR, executive assistance, and/or and operations/project management role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience with calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting planning.
  • General knowledge of HR processes and best practices.

$82,000 - $87,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
