Job Description

We’re looking for a Public Sector Solutions Specialist, Financial Management to drive sales of Procore’s Financial products to our public sector customers. In this role, you’ll be the product champion for all of Procore’s financial products (Project Financials, Accounting Integrations, Invoice Management, and Analytics) and serve as a subject matter expert. You will succeed in this role when a customer or prospect purchases and realizes business performance gains from their investment. You will literally be helping improve the lives of our construction customers by connecting them on a global platform.

As a successful Solution Specialist, you’ll help close deals and assist organizations understand best practices around financial construction technology and solutions and the many business benefits they can provide. You’ll work in a highly collaborative, creative, and driven environment that values openness, optimism, and ownership. In this role, you’ll leverage your consultative-mindset and knowledge of the construction industry and Procore’s software platform to provide clients with important recommendations on how financial products will benefit their business performance. You’ll partner closely cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Engineering, PS, Support, Product, and Marketing. Successful candidates are passionate about construction and technology.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Function as the Financial Management Subject Matter Expert for the account management teams you align with.

  • Work with the Account team to identify Financial Management cross-sell opportunities within our existing strategic public sector customer base.

  • Close deals with existing customers and prospects to add Financial Management products to their contracts

  • Partner with primary Account Managers, Solutions Engineers, and CSE on account strategy and product enablement to effectively position and sell our Financial Management product suite, ultimately driving customer attaches to achieve product-specific ARR targets..

  • Provide periodic updates to our customers on product capabilities, benefits/use cases, and how that translates into customer value.

  • Demo our financial products to our public sector customers 

  • Pursue and increase knowledge of key competitors to ensure our value proposition is effectively communicated to customers.

 

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of construction financial experience is required.

  • Public Sector horizontal project experience is preferred.

  • Construction accounting experience is preferred. 

  • Procore financials experience is preferred.

  • Must be technology evangelists and promoters of modernizing the Real Estate and Construction industry.

  • Understanding of complex web and mobile applications utilized for documentation management, project management, or similar.  Proven technical aptitude utilizing tools and software on a daily basis.  Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office and/or Google Applications.

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $131,040 - $180,180. Plus commission plan for an estimated on-target earnings of $218,400 - $300,300. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
