We’re currently looking for a Public Relations Director. This role supports the overall function of corporate and product publicity and is accountable for driving positive awareness of our brand. This position plays a central role in delivering the company's narrative around innovation and customer experience. In this pivotal role, you'll craft compelling narratives that showcase our innovation, build relationships with key media, and drive impactful communications strategies that support business objectives.
 

Job Duties:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies that align with our business goals and strengthen our market position

  • Focus primarily on product storytelling, including press releases and blogs to tell our product stories through the lens of customer successes

  • Lead media relations efforts, securing high-impact coverage in tier-one business, technology, and industry publications

  • Drive speaking/award submissions to elevate the visibility of key executives and products

  • Pitch trade media on new products/solutions and build out product narratives

  • Work collaboratively with product marketing, social media, and content teams

  • Manage crisis communications and navigate sensitive issues with precision and sound judgment

  • Partner with executive leadership to craft messaging and prepare them for media engagements

  • Measure and report on PR performance metrics, continuously optimizing for maximum impact

Desired Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of progressive PR experience, with at least 5 years in management-level positions overseeing agencies

  • PR agency background is a must

  • Strong skills in media relations, writing & content development, project management

  • Proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage for technology companies

  • Experience in b2b technology and/or consumer technology

  • Exceptional writing skills with ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives

  • Strong network of established media relationships across business and technology publications

  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with media along with key stakeholders, customers, and partners

  • Must demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking in developing plans and programs, as well as excellence in execution

  • Must be proactive, strategic, hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced pitching media and other influencers

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related field

If you are hired in California the compensation range for this position is between $128,450 and $183,500 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
