The Proposal Content Manager will create and manage proposal content for Oracle Cloud, ensuring quality adherence and collaboration with teams for RFI, RFP, and presentation materials.
Job Description – Proposal Content Manager
We are seeking a dynamic Proposal Content Manager with proven Technical Writing experience for Oracle Cloud solutions to join our team and play a pivotal role in the creation, management, and organization of content for RFIs, RFPs, and oral presentation materials. This position is essential to ensure our proposal process is followed rigorously and that all internal milestones are met. All proposal content, including final deliverables, will be maintained in our document management system (Microsoft Teams).
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development & Management:
Develop, curate, and maintain high-quality proposal content and supporting materials for Oracle Cloud solutions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with our capture management team to develop, refine, and deliver the most current and relevant proposal/orals content—including content and diagrams related to Oracle Cloud services—tailored to specific opportunities.
Service Integration:
Partner with delivery teams to define and draft content for new Oracle Cloud services and unique solutions for inclusion in upcoming proposals.
Process Adherence:
Ensure all proposal content and graphics, particularly those relating to Oracle Cloud, follow established review processes and internal toll gates, maintaining a high standard of proposal content quality and organization.
Content Organization:
Maintain all proposal content in an organized, easily accessible manner within Microsoft Teams.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in content management, proposal writing, or technical sales writing roles.
Direct experience in Technical Writing for Oracle Cloud is required.
Direct experience writing SaaS proposals or hands-on experience as a SaaS implementor is required.
Experience writing proposals for State, Local Government, Higher Education, or Federal clients is highly desirable.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on writing.
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of the SaaS industry and terminology; preferred experience with HCM and ERP systems, especially in the public sector and specifically Oracle Cloud.
Writing & Editorial Skills:
Exceptional written English skills, with demonstrated ability in proofreading, editing, and developing persuasive technical sales content, including for Oracle Cloud solutions.
Technical Proficiency:
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
Familiarity with proposal automation tools, AI-driven solutions, and content databases.
Project Management:
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
