YOUR MISSION
We are looking for a highly skilled Proposal and Capture Manager to join our rapidly growing Business Development team. In this role, you will join the team that sits at the heart of True Anomaly’s growth and revenue generation. You will champion the development and delivery of major proposals, partnering with stakeholders across True Anomaly’s business lines and functional teams, including legal, finance, engineering, program management, capture, and executive teams to win new business. You will provide essential people, project, and proposal management skills, expertly navigating the dynamic environment of a hyper-growth company and managing competing priorities with overlapping schedules. You will craft compelling materials to inform our customers’ market research and acquisition strategies, write technical narratives on cutting edge capabilities, build and implement pricing strategies, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to close deals. On any given day, you will manage several concurrent RFP processes for new customer contracts, triage new incoming business opportunities, or help to build sales enablement materials for demos to potential customers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 - 15 years’ experience with the Government solicitation process.
- Experience leading complex, multi-hundred million of dollar proposals to award.
- Deep experience managing and winning competitive POR-level U.S. Department of Defense solicitations.
- Experience and aptitude in building process where none exists.
- Ability to clearly articulate information and to listen and understand business needs and build relationships across the organization.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to generate large documents on short timelines.
- Comfort working with a diverse range of disciplines including, but not limited to, design, engineering, program management, supply chain, and finance.
- Ability to articulate technical concepts accurately and persuasively to a wide range of personas.
- Demonstrated proposal management skills, including the ability to lead diverse groups of stakeholders toward a common goal.
- In-depth knowledge of RFPs, proposals, and procurement.
- Effective design and visual communication skills related to document layout, graphics, and other visuals.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Outstanding project management skills, including management of teams of technical and non-technical individuals.
- Demonstrated ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Active TS or TS/SCI clearance preferred, SAP experience a bonus.
- Start-up experience and/or previous experience with a major U.S. Defense Contractor (space sector ideal)
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $110,000 - $190,000
- Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Work Location—Successful candidates will be located near Denver, Colorado Springs, Long Beach, D.C, or other. While we observe a hybrid work environment, some work must be done on site.
