Position Summary

The Promotions Manager is responsible for the strategy and execution of promotions across the player lifecycle to increase lottery playership, engagement, and revenue. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, managing promotional landing pages via Content Management System (CMS), scheduling promotional banners, writing rules, and using data analysis to support campaigns and promotions. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and content management.  They must be highly organized and have a creative and data-driven mindset for developing promotional strategies.

Key Accountabilities:

Plan and Execute Promotions:

  • Develop promotional strategies for jurisdictions taking into account lottery objectives across the player lifecycle from acquisition to engagement to retention.
  • Develop, configure, and implement promotional campaigns specifically designed to drive new customer sign-ups and initial conversions.
  • Design promotions ensuring engagement and retention with core segments inclusive of high value players, active players, likelihood to churn, among others.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing, design, and product teams to ensure promotions align with business goals and brand standards.
  • Monitor the top-of-funnel effectiveness of promotions and adjust strategies to optimize the Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC).
  • Continuously optimize promotions based on in-market results and proposed A/B testing.
  • Oversee the promotional budget and ensure strict adherence to guidelines.

CMS & Landing Page Management:

  • Update, configure, and maintain promotional content, including welcome offers and sign-up mechanics, using a Content Management System (CMS).
  • Ensure that promotional materials are accurately displayed, current, and optimized.
  • Design and build dedicated landing pages to improve prospect journey and sign-up flow.
  • Work with creative services to design promotional banners for sites and owned channels.

Data Analysis & Reporting for Conversion:

  • Track, analyze, and report on the performance of promotions based on key KPIs. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize promotional strategy and improve the new-user journey.

Collaboration & Coordination for Onboarding:

  • Liaise closely with the performance marketing, legal/compliance, and product teams to ensure a seamless promotional experience.
  • Work with client jurisdictions and affiliate partners to coordinate co-branded acquisition, engagement, and retention opportunities.

Budget & Timeline Management:

  • Assist in managing the promotions budget, ensuring campaigns are cost-effective and meeting objectives.
  • Ensure all promotional campaigns are delivered on time and meet pre-set launch deadlines.

Market Research & Competitor Acquisition Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify successful promotional trends from acquisition to engagement to loyalty.
  • Analyze competitor promotional strategies across the funnel including welcome offers, first-purchase incentives, and retention strategies.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in related field.
