Implementation Team Lead
Duties:
- Effectively leads a team of consultants to meet team and department goals
- Must have a deep functional and technical knowledge of the BlackLine standard products and how it integrates with the other products in the suite of products
- Train and mentor new team members as they learn the BlackLine suite of products
- Ability to attract and retain top talent within the team
- Coordinate and manage multiple concurrent implementation projects
- Function as primary client and partner contact for questions regarding software functionality and best practices throughout the implementation phase
- Provide continuous support and required assistance to team and other groups in the services department
- Ability to provide recommendations and best practices to clients on how to configure the standard BlackLine products
- Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, and thorough communication
- Effectively manage and maintain client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects/tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to communicate in assertive, respectful, and positive manner
- Strong communication skills including ability to work with all levels of the organization
- Ability to work both in a team environment and individually
- Assist in updating implementation documentation deliverables as needed
- Assist in creating processes and procedures which improve and streamline the implementation processes
- Perform training for others in the department on best practices and new solution options within the Transaction Matching product
- Ability to lead a group of consultants and manage team’s workload
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
- Minimum of four years of experience with the BlackLine financial close suite of products
- Minimum of four years of experience in the audit/accounting or technology industry
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Accounting software
- Self-starter and initiator
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organizational, problem solving, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Software background preferred
- Previous project management experience
- Experience managing a team
- CPA preferred
- 2-3 years of consulting experience
